The Pasadenas hit the charts in the U.K. with Top Ten hits such as - 'Riding on a Train, Love Thing and Tribute'. Neil joined when he was 26 and was a member for 3 years.

"The Pasadenas are probably the most slammin' live band I've had the chance to play with. With the live line up being the 5 Pasadenas who not only sang but came out with some of the most outrageous dance breaks I've ever seen. Put that with a 10 piece band made up from some of the top session players in London and there was no stopping the Train ! "

US3 signed a record breaking 5 Album deal with Blue Note Records after having a smash hit with their cover of Herbie Hancocks 'Canteloupe Island' becoming the biggest selling Album ever for Blue Note Records. However he wasn't left with the happiest of memories of his time spent with US3. During the 1997 World Tour Neil was left unconscious on the freezing streets of Gdansk, Poland after being badly beaten by 3 thugs. He was taken to hospital where he spent the night in intensive care on a drip after losing 4 pints of blood, being diagnosed with a cracked cranium, a cracked eye socket and broken ribs ...... ouch!!!

STEVE MARTLAND - Contemporary composer signed to Sony Music.

" This was probably the hardest gig I ever did, the music is incredibly intense and some pieces last for 20 minutes with relentless physical ostinatos and is nigh-on impossible to play. However it was also some of the most fun I've had on a gig. One night during a tour in Holland we were headlining a Contemporary Music Festival - a very serious affair! We had had rather a lot of local hospitality and entered the stage on borrowed beer trolleys, 3 on a bike and anything else we could use as a mode of transport. The audience didn't quite know what was going on........... then, neither did we!!
