Lake District Album

The 'Lake District Album' project is something that Neil has been working on for some time. It is a set of descriptive pieces set in such areas as 'Grasmere' - Wordsworth country, and mountain regions such as 'The Old Man of Coniston' in the North of England - an area which he is particularly fond of.

The material is largely of folkloric nature and is recorded using Neil's trio as the core of the sound. However such material as 'Wordsworth's Grave' is of a more classical nature. Some of the material forms an integral part of the Neil Angilley Trio's live set. For forthcoming trio gigs check out the Calendar page to see when they are next playing.
